Voice Mail

To access voice mail from your 1PHONE ATA device:
Press *318 and enter your pin number.
To access voice mail from an external telephone:
Dial your home number when message starts hit the star key (*) and then enter your pin number when prompted.

Your initial pin number is the last four digits of your phone number.

The first time you access your voice mail, the system will assist you in setting up your voice mail and recording a personalized message.

If you have a voice mail with existing phone system:
You may chose to decline voice mail at turn up of service and voice mail will be managed by your existing system.

Call Waiting

This service notifies you that a second call is on the line. When a
second call comes into your phone you will hear a tone or beep in your
ear. You may answer your incoming call by pressing your flash button
on your phone or by quickly pressing and releasing your on/off hook

 

3 Way Calling

This service allows you to conference in two additional individuals for a 3-way conference call. All conference calls must originate from your phone. You must place the initial call and then call the third party.

  1. Call the first party and establish communications. Press FLASH (on the analog phone, or Hook Flash for old model phones) to get a second dial tone.
  2. Dial the second party's number then # key (or wait for 4 seconds)
  3. If the second party answers the call, then press FLASH to bring the first party into the conference.
  4. If the second party does not answer the call, press FLASH to talk back to the first party.

 

Find-Me-Follow-Me

This service provides a way for you to ring all your phones with your 1PHONE number. Example - you can have your 1PHONE ring your office number and even your mobile number at the same time. If you are traveling, have it ring your parents home, the cabin, etc. Once the Find- Me-Follow-Me is set up all your predefined numbers you set to ring will ring at the same time. Once the number has answered the call, ringing on the other configured numbers will stop.

Anonymous Call Rejection

This service automatically rejects all calls from withheld numbers. This
allows you to automatically reject calls that come from anonymous
parties.

To enable ACR, Press *77
To disable ACR, press *87

Automatic Recall

This service allows you to return the most recent incoming call, or to
hear the last incoming caller's number and then optionally return the call.

To return the call instantly, press *69

Reminder Call

This service allows you to book calls from the switch at a set time of day.
An announcement is played when you answer. You can set the telephone on this line to ring at a particular time, for example as a reminder of an appointment. To set up reminder calls on your own line from your 1PHONE service use the following access codes and follow the voice prompts for further instructions.

Selective Call Forwarding (SCF)

This service allows you to select a list of calling numbers whose calls will automatically be forwarded. All calls from numbers on this list are forwarded onto a single alternative forwarding number.
To set up selective call forwarding on your line from your 1PHONE service, use the following access code and follow the voice prompts for further instructions. This allows you the extra option of adding an anonymous number following a call where the caller withheld their number.

Selective Call Rejection (SCR)

This service allows you to select a list of numbers from which incoming calls are automatically rejected. A rejection announcement is played to the calling party.

You can choose to reject calls on this line from particular callers. If you do this, the telephone will not ring when a call comes in from one of these callers; instead, the caller will hear an automatic message that the call has not been accepted.

To control rejecting calls on your own line from your 1PHONE device use the following access codes. This allows you the extra option of adding an anonymous number to the list of rejected numbers following a call where the caller withheld their number.

Unconditional Call Forwarding (UCF)

This service forwards all of a subscriber's incoming calls onto an alternative number, without ringing the subscriber's phone first. To control call forwarding on your line from your telephone, use the following access codes. XXX-XXX-XXXX represents the number to which you want to forward your calls, and is only required if you have chosen the option that requires the number to be entered.

Speed Calling

This service allows one-digit or two-digit codes to be used as shortcuts for selected phone numbers. You will enter the code and this is interpreted as if you had dialed the phone number to which the short code maps.

For numbers that are called frequently, you can set up Speed Calling to provide a quick way of dialing these numbers.

Instead of dialing the full number, you can simply dial the speed code. The full telephone number corresponding to this code is dialed after a 4- second delay; the user can force immediate dialing by dialing # after the
Speed Calling code.

To set up Speed Calling on your own line from your 1PHONE service use one of the following access codes.

You will hear a broken dial tone. Dial the Speed Calling code you want to use, followed by the full telephone number you want to access using that code. You will then hear a confirm tone. Basically dial *74 XXXXXXXXXX.

Trouble Shooting

Question - I can hear dial tone but cannot make or receive calls?
Answer - Dial tone is generated from the 1PHONE device. The issue is the 1PHONE device cannot communicate with our 1PHONE server.
Make sure all the cables are connected. If you have a modem, make sure you cycle the power on the modem. Wait a full minute and then power cycle the 1PHONE device. If you have a firewall, the issue may be that you are blocking UDP ports 5060 and 5061. Our 1PHONE service requires that these ports be open on your firewall at all times.

Question - I can hear the called party but they cannot hear me or vice versa.
Answer: RTP (Real-Time Transport Protocol) signal is not allowed to communicate with our 1PHONE servers. Refer to the fix action above for opening ports in your firewall.

Question - I live in a seven (7) digit dial plan area. Why do I have to dial (10) digits all the time?
Answer: Most of the country uses ten (10) digit dial plans now and our product is a nationwide product.
